The PGA TOUR FAN SHOP at Nicklaus Gate

The PGA TOUR FAN SHOP at Nicklaus Entry is a great place to gear up for THE PLAYERS, featuring 2018-specific items that won’t last long once the crowds arrive. Improved in 2018, has been redesigned and expanded to over 21,000 sq. ft. and includes new product lines and exclusive gear including specialty t-shirts and custom logoed headwear for THE PLAYERS 2018.

The Bier Garden presented by Hoptinger

New in 2018, THE PLAYERS will feature the Bier Garden presented by Hoptinger adjacent to the Couples Gate, in the old Courtyard location. Spectators will have a variety of craft beers on tap to choose form.

The Grove

NEW in 2018, The Grove has been expanded to improve access and seating. Located in the area behind 17 tee and 16 green, The Grove is an outdoor, shaded area that is open to the public. The area includes pavers, table seating and an upgraded walkway from the Nicklaus Gate that will lead fans directly to the location. The Grove will include a large video board showcasing the Golf Channel and NBC broadcast so fans won’t miss any tournament action while they’re taking a break. The Grove will also feature a social media board covering THE PLAYERS Facebook, Twitter and Instagram feeds. The area is also in close proximity to the large permanent restrooms located behind 16 green and 17 tee.


Taste of JAX

Located behind 11 green and 12 tee, this public venue offers flavors from local, favorite restaurants, a GREY GOOSE open-air bar, permanent restrooms and video boards to keep up with the tournament. Taste of JAX restaurants include:

  • Brucci’s Pizza – You’ll find authentic Italian here; owned by the son of Italian immigrants, Brucci’s dishes were born from traditional recipes;
  • Hawkers Asian Street Fare – Located in Jacksonville, Neptune Beach, Orlando and St. Petersburg, they select the best “street food” recipes from Asia
  • Mojo Kitchen – Located in Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Jacksonville Beach, Fleming Island and Gainesville, this Jacksonville chain brings barbeque specialties from all over the country giving them a Mojo spin.
  • Zoe’s Kitchen – Simple, Mediterranean inspired, food made from fresh, natural ingredients.

Trucks on 10

Located between 10 fairway, 11 fairway and 15 green, this public venue offers flavors from local, favorite food trucks, an upgraded restroom and an open-air, centrally located Michelob ULTRA Mobile bar. Trucks on 10 will offer seating for fans and include great-tasting food from local trucks:

  • Cely’s Filipino Food – Filipino Style Cuisine;
  • Delish Kabob’s – Authentic Brazilian Skewers grilled over natural charcoal
  • Mama’s Food – Argentinian Style Cuisine;
  • Island Girl Seafood – Award-winning, mouth-watering grilled, blackened, coconut and fried shrimp, lobster, fish and scallops;
  • Pele’s Wood Fire – Neaplolitan style cuisine;
  • Up In Smoke BBQ – Southern Homemade BBQ.

Tacos on 12

Located between 11 tee, 12 green and 13 tee, TacoLu, Jacksonville’s most popular Baja Mexicana, will be serving food and beverages. This public venue includes seating and shaded areas.


The Oasis

Open to the public (must be 21+), The Oasis features signature cocktails made with Grey Goose Vodka, the official spirit of the PGA TOUR. Located between 9 and 18 tee boxes, The Oasis debuted in 2012 to expand on what had been a basic – but popular – concession area in the past. The area features an air-conditioned venue, where signature cocktails food and drink are available for purchase. The Oasis boasts a rear deck for prime views of No. 9 tee.

The Patio

A fan favorite since it debuted in 2011, The Patio offers a shaded fan zone that includes open-air seating, a videoboard to keep up with the tournament. The Patio features food from Southern Soul BBQ, a top-notch barbeque staple from St. Simon’s Island. The Patio also features permanent restroom facilities, includes the Michelob ULTRA Bar and a social media board covering THE PLAYERS Facebook, Twitter and Instagram feeds. The Patio is located between 10 tee and 18 green/16 tee.


Military Appreciation Day – Tuesday, May 8 (5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m.)

Military Appreciation Ceremony and Luke Combs Concert will take place at the 17th hole
Jim Furyk will cap off the Military Appreciation Day program, which will include pageantry by military personnel, a flyover by the 125th Fighter Wing, a National Anthem performance by Caleigh Furyk and a special concert by singer Luke Combs. Guests during the 2018 Military Appreciation Day ceremony include:

  • Jay Monahan, PGA TOUR Commissioner
  • Jim Furyk, PGA TOUR player
  • Rear Admiral Bette Bolivar, Commander, Navy Region Southeast

PINK OUT and Mother’s Day at THE PLAYERS on Championship Sunday – Sunday, May 13

In honor of Mother’s Day, which falls on the final round of THE PLAYERS (Sunday, May 13), the event will once again stage a “PINK OUT” on Championship Sunday in celebration of mothers and support of The DONNA Foundation’s breast cancer marathon for research and care.

In conjunction with Sunday’s “PINK OUT,” players, caddies, sponsors, volunteers and fans are encouraged to wear pink to TPC Sawgrass in support of The DONNA Foundation, a local charitable organization that raises funds for ground-breaking breast cancer research at Mayo Clinic and women living with breast cancer. The DONNA Foundation is also the event’s “Charity of the Day.”
